Theatre Performance Groups
"The Mimes and Mummers is the oldest club at Fordham University’s Rose Hill Campus. The club produces four main-stage shows a year, including two musicals, a comedy, and a drama.
For each production, the Mimes hire professional directors, music directors, and choreographers from the New York City area. The club boasts a design team of students who head the lighting, sound, set, costumes, properties, and publicity departments for each show."
"Fordham Experimental Theatre (FET) is a theater club focusing on creativity and passion for all things theater. The "E" is key: here at FET, we want to experiment and push the limits of what a stage production can be and what stories can be told on stage. All of our shows are student-run: that means student-directed, (sometimes) student-written, and student-acted, allowing for near complete creative freedom.
We have a different show every single weekend and are constantly looking for talented people who are just as passionate as we are about our mission statement.
The best part about FET is that everything we do in the black box is FREE! Yes, absolutely free. As are all the best things in life! Like a walk in the park. Or Fortnite. "
"The Theatrical Outreach Program (TOP), founded in 2008, produces four plays each year including at least one classical work. With each production, we provide theater based outreach in collaboration with our community partners."
